Last is the Social Deck, which is known as producers of social games that can be accessed from various devices. Social Deck acquisition was announced Monday (8/30/2010). Previously, Google has taken over the social game developers Slide, Jambool, Like.com, and Angstro.

SocialDeck has experience developing games that can run on multiple platforms and social networking. User can play the game from the iPhone, via Facebook on the desktop, or other device. The other Social Desk games are Shake & Spell, Pet Hero MD, and Color Connect.

The Google acquisition of SocialDeck is increasingly strengthening the rumors that Google plan to build a social network based on gaming service. Previously, Google is reportedly cooperating with Playdom Inc., EA, Playfish, Zynga and also known as big players in the gaming service. However, until now not clear where Google bring this collaboration.

This is one technology that may be the future of newspapers in today’s digital era. With a flexible sheet format, readers can still enjoy a relaxing habit of reading newspapers, but in a digital format according to the demands of the times.

The prototype of electronic newspaper sheet is design by South Korean electronics company, LG Electronics, has now started to be produced. The latest news published by PC World, Thursday (26/08/2010), mentions that LG Electronic plans to mass-produce of color electronic paper sized 9.7 inches and 19 inches.

As reported by the technology blog Engadget, in January, LG Electronics has exhibited a prototype of electronic paper, but only displays text and black and white images only. Could be, the items to be mass produced is the development of this prototype.

However, no mention whether the electronic paper will be produced for the needs of what kind of device. In addition to the new style paper with the navigation keys, the electronic paper by LG Electronics is also potentially be used as a flexible touch screens for public information boards or other needs.

The camera’s picture which named FinePix Real 3D W3 can be printed in the three dimensions paper and can be affixed in the family photo album – or can be viewed directly from the display facility that integrates with the camera. Not like the 3D movies in theaters, do not need special glasses to get the 3D effect.

This  FinePix Real 3D W3 camera takes two photos simultaneously from two separate lenses – the same distance with the two human eyes. Using ‘lenticular’ technology – the look right and left eyes separately woven in a crinkled surface to create the illusion steoroskopik.

This method has been used since the 1940s in the sticker, for example, which displays a simple two-frame animation – such as blinking. This old technology is now used in products 3D console games and posters.

The FinePix Real 3D W3 camera is equipped with a video camera high-definition 3D, which allows users to watch the shot in 3D television. It will be on sale on September with a price around 400 pounds. Meanwhile, for the printing service will soon be launched soon after the launch of the camera.
